Funding Resources

The Robooter electric wheelchair is eligible for funding under many benefit plans. Most plans include an allowance for wheelchairs, and can be combined with health spending accounts. You can check with your insurer by asking them for a “prior authorization,” to see what amount your plan may cover. 

 

The Robooter electric wheelchair is also eligible for a CRA Tax write off. 

Any costs over $2,635, or 3% of your income, whichever is lesser,  can be claimed against your income.
